Champagne/Comedy Moments of the 2009 season
- Finger’s 2nd XI winning promotion
- Sleepy’s tons at Brighton Insurance, Selsey & Midhurst.
- Mick’s match winning ton to squeeze home against (Upper) Beeding & Bramber as the run rate escalated.
- Ben Hasler’s hat trick & his first “Michelle” at home to Steyning for the Under 14s
- The 12s beating Wisborough Green at home – our first ever win over them
- Mick’s outstanding performance with bat and ball to see us finally beat Warnham
- The Welshman bowling WC&T colt Mark Fischel to secure the first tie in adult game for many years in the Sunday match at Ashurst.
- The 14s, being the first Green & Gold team to win at Horsham and Wisborough Green, also snatching victory from jaws of defeat against Arundel in the SJCF.
- The Sunday side beating Midhurst, Ansty, Arundel Grasshoppers & Ditchling at last
- Rydon College (containing many U13s and some U12s) winning the Schools Cup at Lancing.
- Fitz’s battling U10s & Fingers’ superb U16s playing a year up in many cases
- Gabriel Peck making his debut for the 2nds
- Wes Scott making his debut for the Sunday side
- Horatio and Sleepy not on the same wavelength batting in 1st's defeat at Broadbridge Heath
- Sixteen “michelles” & Thirteen tons this season – both are records
- Mick’s massive unbeaten ton just failing to see the Sunday side home against the Fleet Street Strollers
- The 13s losing on the last ball in a wonderful league game at Horsham Trinity.
