Colts fixtures will be put in separate item when we have news...

All adult league & friendly fixtures have been published on Play Cricket.

NB: The 12th June sees England's first world cup footy group game in South Africa against the mighty USA so both league games - at home to Broadbridge Heath and away at Middleton - are likely to start at 12pm depending on whether colts games can be postponed for that day. Watch this space.

Friendlies

Despite the lack of a second ground which the committee is working hard to rectify possibly for 2011, we are intending to enter a 3rd XI into a conference. Whilst the standard is apparently competitive (e.g. Roffey, Trinity, Crawley), the main focus is on developing colts so they can flourish in the Festivals and also play adult cricket more quickly. Half the side must be colts and half over 16. This is apparently one reason why Horsham Trinity's colts are becoming world beaters. As soon as the colts fixtures are announced, we will submit some Saturdays when our 3rd XI can make its debut - all be it in away games. We're planning to play two Sunday sides where possible during the summer school term to give our colts & large numbers of Sunday players a good run out before the summer holidays see us lose players to their families.
